With flame maple top in a classic vintage sunburst. If you don't like this mandolin then, something is wrong.
LOL Just look at it. And it sounds and plays even better.
Plus you don't have to sell your house to own it. It fits the mandolin like a cork in a bottle. Then you pay for both at once! Bound semi hollow mahogany body with flame maple top. If you never heard of Dillion, listen to what people are saying. Thanks for making such a quality instrument at a affordable price..... Even if Gibsons and Fenders were in the same price range I'd still pick the Dillion! Besides being one of the best looking guitars Ive ever owned it is one of the best guitars Ive ever played. Kind of reminded me when I picked up a guitar and managed to play a chord and it sent chills up my spine and I was hooked. I think I stayed up to about. Im glad Tony let me know about your guitars. Dear John Dillion, I received the Dillion guitar today.
I was thinking about a Gibson but there is no point now. This guitar does everything I want and more. If I ever need another guitar, I will get. This guitar is a real steal and so was the case.I have been playing acoustic guitars since 1966 and electrics since 1976. Never had trouble finding an acoustic I liked but electrics have been more difficult for me. It dawned on me the other day that I have never held on to an electric guitar as long as I have my Dillion Gold Top with P90s!!!!! Just thought I would pass that on to you since your name is on this guitar. Everything about this guitar just keeps me coming back for more and I cannot say that about any other electric I have ever owned (including Fender, Rickenbacker, Gibson, Schecter, Carvin, Guild, Kramer, Ibanez, ESP and plenty of others made by what many think of us manufacturers of great guitars). Keep up the great work, Dennis Compton. I have 13 bass guitars and none have the comfort and quality I found in yours. I never write companies about their product but have always felt if some one has good quality merchandise for a fair price its always worth letting them know. Got a Dillion this afternoon. The guitar far exceeded my expectations. All I had to do was lower the strings a bit.
I got it down to 4/64 at the 17th fret which is plenty low enough for me. The pickups were a surprise as well.I was planning on changing them, but they are about as stratty sounding as you can get. I can't believe you can sell these guitars as this price. Many people have commented on it at gigs and despite me owning a Gibson Les Paul Custom, 70's Fender Strat, IbanezRG370, Charvel 475 Custom and a Maverick F1, the Dillion is by far the best guitar I have ever owned, which quite frankly is astounding!! The tone, the action, the feel and its stunning finish put guitars with a price tag four times that what I paid for the Dillion well and truly in the shade.
Thank you for a superb axe. Keep up the excellent work, you have a fan for life! I received my Dillion DL-6500 today from Tony. I have a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul a Fender American Telecaster and a top-of-the-line Heritage LP, and the workmanship, beauty and playability of the Dillion eclipses both of them. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hardware and pickups.Considering the price, it nears perfection. I tried it in the store and it sounded nice. But when I got it home and plugged into my gig stack of Marshalls and ripped one of my bands originals WOW! , Now understand I don't really take the time to write e-mails. But this guitar absolutely SCREAMS. This is without doubt one of the very best guitars I've ever played including my line up of Gibson LPs, Fender Jaguar, B. Rich Mockingbird, and an Eppiphone Wilshire'66 reissue. This guitar has withstood all my tests and I look forward to the many years and shows that this guitar will perform in. It's has incredible quality with an amazing sound and unmatched playability. You've earned a customer for life.
My only complaint is that there isn't a dealer in close proximity. Sincerely, Ryan Barry, Lead Guitarist for Six Gun Sound. The item "Dillion 335 style Mandolin in sunburst with flame maple top (Just 2 left!
